Wouldn't supriese me ... just look at the release schedule in "knowledge is power" released at the begining of '09 .... Also you can see a storm brewing in the RT forum for not delivering or giving any information about the status of the game.
One possibilty is that the distributors have reduced the number of products per month they are willing to buy from them (what with the recession 'n all). They've had to space out their releases more as a result.
It has been marked as "at the printers" for ages. Maybe they moved things around to get stuff out for Gencon and are still recovering. I say we will probably see it mid November but that is purely a guess.

my local game storehave a catalogue stating that raical's handbook will be available to order this month. Somehow though, I think it'll be october or november by the time we see it. Poor FFg, they just wanted to make everyone happy with this grand undertaking, and it seems to have blown up in their faces slightly. If you look at the storm brewing in the RTforums, yo'll see some of the most frustrated gamers I've ever seen. I really like FFG, they do good work, but I just can't bring myself to defend them after that last designer diary.
Well.. any out there in the states... what are your "major gaming conventions"? Around here (germany), it is kinda common for publishers to hold things back to have something to make a show of at the next "con".
To me, I just pray that I will get "Radical" before "RT":

Well, I agree with you for the majority man. I just find that, you know, we're all human. Things do screw up, and we can't just fix things by snapping our fingers. Not to brew up a storm (I'm imagining people storming my house with torches and burning me at the stake for some odd reason) but I don't think FFG are just simply sitting on their asses, and are actually trying to fix the problems, but things are just slow going, or there are things happening we don't know about.
*Shrug* Just saying to everyone whom cares to read.
Well, they have been too optimistic about their release schedule. No biggie, they hardly need to be burned at the stake for that. However, they should by now come clear and give realistic estimates of when certain products are going to come out, as this silence only makes things worse.
