Reports are varied, but we had somewhere between 96-106 people flying today. Doug Kinney (hothie here on the boards) was in attendance. Top 8 seemed pretty meta standard, no surprises. . I know the #1 spot went to the only undefeated, Sam, with a chewie/corran.
I went 3-3 with an iggy B/double starviper build. Started strong at 3-1, but exhaustion set in and I dropped my last two games.

It wasn't intentional. Pairings were talking longer than expected, then we would do a 15 minute setup for players. First round had to be re-paired and then the second round took several minutes, so the TO thought it was best to let the seeds run and THEN give a 15 minute break/setup before the clock started.

Started using FFG's software, which crapped the bed during first round pairings. Switched to cryodex on the fly, got started around 11:30. 75 minute rounds with a 15 minute set up once pairings were made.
All in all, it went really smoothly and there were zero complaints from anyone in attendance.
Yeah FFG asking TOs to beta test software when they've got 90 players waiting on pairings is just absurd on FFGs part.

I watched it up until the final. I had to work at 6am today, and the drawing was around 2. I had to go to bed, cannot wait to watch the final when it gets put on youtube.

Here's my Chewie/Corran build that went 6-0 through swiss. I got lucky with matchups; I got three Deci lists that I could handle and managed to escape my one BBBBZ list with a win. The first time I faced dual IGs was after the cut and I got stomped when Corran wilted under HLC fire early.

Looks like the Denver event had similar problems.
Final was a heck of a match -- took about an hour and a half, very tense, good flying, some VERY hot agility dice.
