OCTGN WAAAGH! Organized league play - Summer 2015 season announced

By sammann11, in Warhammer 40,000: Conquest

Alrighty, folks - the 3rd season, Summer 2015 season, of offcial OCTGN WAAAGH!!! organized league play is offcially here!

This is a great way to get the feel, and commitment, of an organized Conquest league - but you don't have to be near any other players (or even get dressed and drive down to your FLGS) to get your games in!

From here on out OCTGN WAAAGH! will be hosted at the following website:

http://40koctgnwaaagh.blogspot.com/

This website will act as a home for the upcoming summer season as well as all future seasons! Here players can register for a season, see their weekly match-ups, report game results, view past weeks' results and view the league rules and FAQ.

I am also happy to announce that user Sizer will be helping me as a co-admin!

Please head over to http://40koctgnwaaagh.blogspot.com/ and click the Register for "Summer 2015 Season" link under the Blog Archive bar on the right to sign up for our next season which will begin on Monday, June 15th!

Please read the FAQ/League Rules post to answer any questions you may have and to see the format in which OCTGN WAAAGH!!! League Play will use from here on out!

Any questions at all? Just PM me at sammann11 either here or over at cardgamedb.com!

I'm looking forward to another great season this summer and many more beyond!

Im gonna try my best to make this league this time... even more so now that it's summer.

Am looking forward to this. :)

Has the Conquest OCTGN experience gotten any better? I'd love to do this so supplement my IRL play but... It was harder to play the game on-line than in Real Life. Just couldn't be bothered to try and wrap my head around the interface.

I guess I can't say that it's gotten better - I don't think it's really changed much at all. Little tweaks here and there but the interface is still pretty much the same. I will say it only takes a couple of games to get used to it.

When are people more active? There's no one on at night on PST time hehe.

Hero,

I see people on at night. They key is to start looking for users and adding them as friends. Then you know who/when to play. I'm on multiple nights a week. usually after 9 PM CST but sometimes earlier. There are some west coast guys I see out there.
