Hi,

Can one combine Ratswarm's Merge with Splig's Plot Card Meat Shield? You know, pretending to kill a rat to give the health to another rat, but damaging another monster instead. RAW sounds completely legit to me, but thematically is weird, and the kind of thing heroes would complain about.

What do you think?

You could do this to keep the Rat Swarm performing merge alive- however, the rat swarm you are healing would only recover wound equal to the rat's remaining health, not the health of the other adjacent monster.

1) Rat swarm "A" performs merge.

2) When rat swarm "A" suffers damage, Meat Shield gets exhausted to cause the third monster to suffer wound equal to rat swarm "A"'s remaining health.

3) The third monster suffers wound equal to the remaining health of rat swarm "A", and rat swarm "B" recovers an equal amount of wound.

It is thematically weird, but it looks entirely legal.
