Stay tuned for our final previews

What more do you expect to be previewed from the Raider?

They'll probably have a release announcement article once it moves to 'on the boat' with some sample lists and builds. Then a final announcement article when it hits stores

Pictures of it being loaded onto the boats?

Seriously though, maybe some of the crew cards we haven't seen? So far, only the Emperor is a crew we could use outside of Epic play. I'd love to see some non-epic crew.

Expecting epic scum next announcement. Probably by July.

Raider on the boat preview will cover new mines that shoot at you and can be shot down. They are very visible in the preview images. I'm surprised people aren't more excited about them. If they are legal in 100-point tourneys then they are at least as interesting as cluster mines and Connor nets.

For each of the other Epic ships they released an article devoted to the missions in the box.

Seems unlikely. There are no nubs on those tokens. How do you deploy them?

Seems much more likely that those are part of the packaged missions.

FFG are not the only ones writing missions for the Raider...

Perhaps I should release a teaser/preview for the Raider-centric missions I plan to publish when the Raider is out?

The mines are just mission objects. Similar ones were in the GR-75 and I think the CR-90 too. The stays on them will just be another interaction thing for the scenario. I'm still hoping against hope that there will be a Team slot upgrade so the Tantive IV title is now fully functional.

What leads you to believe they're not scenario tokens?

The lack of new rules reference cards is evidence against the introduction of a new game mechanic, like what you would need to introduce these type of mines outside a scenario.

Hope. Seems like a waste of a good idea to put them in a scenario only.

probably too much to hope for, but more xwing minis relevent upgrades :D

I'm going off the transport mostly, which had four upgrade cards (astros) + flechettes (though I think the 4 ATCs and titles + emperor beat them out in quantity)

Can you post the links to the previous previews? I couldn't find them...

Thanks. Wow, I totally missed the middle two articles. I've only seen the original one (back from December 2014) and the one on the Emperor.

Question: Can Juno Eclipse perform a 6 straight maneuver? Because the plain text of her pilot card makes it sound like she can.

she can, you just have to wait for the official 6 straight template

plus the four turn/bank

you'll just have to wait until they come out to be legally able to perform those maneuvers, even if you have to wait forever :)

Now you're just trying to derail this entire thread. :D That has been discussed ad nauseam elsewhere. I pretty sure the consensus is no she is limited to maneuvers that currently exist in X-Wing, but I guess it's really up to FFG.

OK. On topic, I think that the next Raider preview will be on potential builds featuring the updated TIE Advanced.
