Last week, our Inquisitor, Arcturus Rhynn , expelled his acolytes, gave them passes to board the Sovereign Bounty on a one way trip to Port Maw. (This is all part of his plan, of course, but the PCs don't know that. They think they've got half the stormtroopers on Scintilla hunting them down.)
Flash forward, the PCs are at Pot Maw, looking for work. They encounter another PC, who has given up his Tech Priest for a Rogue Trader. This fellow is drunk, looking for a command crew in the eventuality that he can recover his ship from Calligos Winterscale. I won't spoil the rest of the adventure, as we dove-tailed this into the adventure in the back of Rogue Trader . The PCs are getting used to life abroad ship, and looking forward to a new world or opponent each week. They are soon to face cold trade guilders, orks, renegades, pirates and somewhere out there... the long shadow of Hieronymous Rosenberg, the Traitor Inquisitor will fall over the plot once more.
As GM, I find myself with far more story elements than I will ever have time to deal with. It's a weird feeling.
