Hey guys! I'm starting to look towards Nationals and trying to decide what lists to try out. I took a Han+3Z list to a regionals and won, but it wasn't easy. I'll fly that as a last resort if I can't find anything else, but I started theorycrafting and I just put this list together and wanted to see if you guys had any pointers:

YT-1300: · Chewbacca (42)

Push The Limit (3)

Engine Upgrade (4)

· C-3PO (3)

· Jan Ors (2)

· Millennium Falcon (1)

E-WING: · Corran Horn (35)

Veteran Instincts (1)

Fire Control System (2)

· R2-D2 (4)

Hull Upgrade (3)

The idea here is to start an offensive mindset and take out a high priority target. If Chewie starts taking damage, then he can turtle up with an evade action, PTL focus action evade token with Jan Ors, and C3P0, blocking 3 damage per turn. Corran will be tough to pinpoint, specially coming in at the flank, but in case he becomes a target, he has his own ways to avoid damage and regen, with some buffer from the hull upgrade.

I feel like this list prioritizes staying alive over high damage output, but if things are going well double tapping Corran and a possible TL+PTL focus shot from Chewie can put a ship down real quick.

I'm sure this has to had been thought of before, so I'm curious to see why it's not as common as I would imagine.

Any thoughts, weaknesses, suggestions?

Might be wrong, but I don't believe Jan Ors would be of use to you as a crew member on the Falcon, for her skill works for friendly ships (and not for the ship she is on).

It counts, you can be in range of yourself.

I wonder how many YT-1300s will field such a crew combination (C-3po and Jan Ors) matched with PTL during an upcoming Regional Tournament?

I used something very similar In my last local tournament and came 4th

I had:

Chewbacca -Yt1300

Predator

Jan Ors

Recon specialist

Anti pursuit lasers

Corran Horn - E wing

R2D2

Engine upgrade

PTL

FCS

Chewy can take both a focus and evade every turn and re roll with predator.

Corran does the usual double tap and run to re gain shields

Fun, but throw in some cheap A-Wings for extra awesome

The problem you will have is if someone burns Corran in the Early game.

Doesn't matter how much chewy is mitigating if you have not taken any ships down before Corran is popped.

Sure you get a couple of evades. They will work for the first shot at you. What about Gunner? Big ships with a mini swarm, big swarms.

I am currently running a Fat Han \ Trip Bandit list and this is how I would take your list on. Burn Corran and pick chewy apart.

I know he will only be doing greens because of PTL. If you don't PTL then you don't have the evades or you end up with an extra stress from doing something silly like clipping a debris field then the list falls apart even faster.

Cool idea man and fun to play maybe. But I don't think the average punter would do well with this. You would have to be an outstanding E wing pilot.

I did play a guy who was using Draw Their Fire with Chewy and that worked really well against things like Bro Bots and other Mangler Cannon wielding shenanigans.
