Got it! So you don't like the Torp slot also. It makes sense Fluff wise and someone else commented in another thread that any streamlining should have the torps removed also.

Maybe we should rename it to something like, Vectored Thrust droid or something.

I think "vectored thrust droid" sounds like a character in a sci fi harlequin story.....

Let's call it R7-T4. The R7 new model which was designed for the E-wing. Due to the weird loading ports for droids, and to allow the e-wing to perform maneuvers with droid control.

I think FFG tried with the R7-T1, but the fact you must be in the enemies primary arc and use an action to lock on really makes it not very effective.

SLAM is a great thought, too, but it might be too good on the E-Wing.

With a 5 forward + SLAM, the E-Wing can cover just about 2/3 of the board in one turn. Talk about a disengage maneuver...

TIE defender'd love SLAM though...

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but what about the cloak action. Corran would not want to use it as much as it could not get the acd. Could make generics and etahn good though

The E-wing is supposed to be a space superiority fighter. It combines the X-wing and A-wing into one package..

Hence the cost.

However, I think the boost should have been built in. I don't like how FFG has limited the native actions to 4. I wish the ship would have been given focus, target lock, barrel roll, boost, and evade. I also wanted to see a generic with an EPT. If I had to give up an action, evade. PS 4, 5, or 6 E-wing with PTL would have been fun.

One thought I have is a title "Multi-role Strike Fighter". Torpedo slot maybe used for missile or bomb upgrade instead.

I am also in favor on a Rouge Squadron title that improves X-wing and E-wing when flying formation.

Its about game design more than background, or the Defender would have 1 more shield, the Interceptor dial, boost, and evade.

If they are in an offensive position, they stack TL, evade and focus, or they can turtle with focus and 2 evades and they don't have to throw naked dice after barrel rolling. It still works even when stressed so it makes their K-Turns a huge threat.

Now, this could help Corran but only if he wants to start discarding those 2-4pt cards he is usually stacked with.

A title that gives an EPT if the ship doesn't have one (cross between EPT droid and Prototype Pilot). There, Generics are more viable and Mr Horn gets nothing. NOTHING!

And while we are at it I'm still waiting for the Rogue Squadron Pilot X-wing cards (PS 6 or 5, EPT) and torpedo upgrade that gives a System slot for X-wings only (one point, or free!)

I agree that if they get a fix, it needs to be generic only. Horn needs no help, and etahn isn't too shabby either.

I don't think the e-wing needs help. The generics suck, but that's common in this game. I never understood generics anyway, even early in the game when they weren't overcosted (e.g. rookie pilot x-wing). Pilots with abilities make the game more fun, and I'm fine with letting the generics gather dust.

Anyway, if I were to do a title I'd like to do something like the the y-wing btl-a4 title. The y-wing is useful with and without the title -- the title makes the ship different, but it doesn't necessarily make it better, it depends on what you're trying to achieve. Maybe something that swaps the astromech slot for a crew slot.

I'm pretty sure boost + At would be too good for Corran as well.

He'd be beyond broken. Anything you do to buff the E-wing must not help Corran. He truly doesn't need any buffs.

Honestly, i see this sooo much. Rogue is someone or something gone off the rails or acting out of character.

Rouge is a cosmetic to give someone redder cheeks!

Rogues sometimes wear rouge. However Rogue wore pancake makeup because she couldn't touch anyone without making them pass out. Still haven't seen Rogue in Rogue Squadron, call her Rouge Five, along side Stacy.
