What is the best multiple shuttle list you have seen?

here are a few im considering for our local league...

List 1

Soontir + PTL + Autothrusters

Doomshuttle

2x Omicron Group Pilot + enhanced scopes

List 2

Soontir + PTL + Autothrusters + Shield Upgrade

3x Omicron Group Pilot

List 3

Soontir + Lone Wolf + Autothrusters

3x Omicron Group Pilot + tactician

thoughts?

Oicunn

Dauntless

Rebel Captive

Determination

Yorr

FCS

Omicron Group Pilot

Vader

FCS

This list kinda goes the opposite way from yours and is more of a fortress list. You can deploy in the corner in a way that your shuttles have good arcs so there is little decent approach. Omicron stops, Yorr takes stress, Yorr greens forward into the Omicron and the Deci bumps into Yorr with a green meaning only Yorr is losing actions each turn and no one has stress at the end of the turn. It’s also easy to break out of the corner and deliver some serious damage with the Deci’s auto damage and Vader auto crit on top of three TL’d 3 dice attacks.

Your lists seem quite solid, especially #1. I've faced a tough Lambda-build at a Spring tournament:

Captain Yorr

Omicron x3

Academy Pilot

99 points

I managed to win but it was very close. With a player who really knows the dial well, that many shuttles can cover many firing arcs and become efficient blockers.

Another build that a friend tried and which seemed to work well is this:

Omicron (Tactician, Tactician) x 4

100 points

OGP, Accuracy Corrector, Autoblaster Cannon, Engine Upgrade x3

giphy.gif

Seriously though only played it once against a hard counter; 6 Binyares with cluster missles. I lost, but only 1 Z was left.

x4 OGP

Backstabber

Worked quite well for me a few times

Plus most people are like "zomg!!!,wtf!!!"

x3 OGP

And a firespray works nice

I call it "Four Cow Monte"

3 x Omicron Pilot w/ Tactician, Tactician

Omicron Pilot w/ Vader & Moff JJ

My favorite has always been:

Stress Cows

-----------------

Omicron Group Pilot + FCS + Tactician + Gunner

Omicron Group Pilot + FCS + Tactician + Gunner

Whisper + VI + ACD + Rebel Captive

100 pts

Stress stress and more stress. Cows built like that are formidable and can't be left alone. Just don't lose Whisper TOO early, the cows can really only close against 1 generic at most. Now that I think about it, I bet this squad is even better in the current meta where there are less squads gunning to counter the Phantom. There are also more ships present that HATE stress. I might pull this one back out for a Regional...haha.

I've faced this and its pretty good:

OGP + Vader

OGP + Advanced Sensors + EU

BH + Rec Spec.

Academy Pilot

Its got a lot of beef and puts out pretty good firepower.

Please do! That way, when we match up against each other, because we ALWAYS match up against each other, I have pretty much a hard counter against your entire list :).

In List 3, I can't agree with Soontir + Lone Wolf, no way to stress him, except K-turns. Turr + Lone Wolf works quite well, however.

Omicron Group Pilot (25)
Lambda-Class Shuttle (21), Tactician (2), Tactician (2)

x 4

Boom.

OGP+Tactician+Tactician+EU+Accuracy Corrector

OGP+Tactician+Tactician+EU+Accuracy Corrector

Soontir+Autothrusters+SD+PTL+RGP

99 points gives you the initiative bid running a stress-dealing, 23D/9A little bundle of "mooooooooo!"

You can never count out Dom's 3 shuttle list either. I believe it was 3x OGP, 2 with Tactician, and 1 BH (which was later swapped with Fel for GenCon).

Easy answer:

Venus Fel Trap

Fel + PtL

2x Omnicron + FCS

1x Omnicron + Vader

It won a major Vassal tournament (pre-Autothrusters).

well if you think about it, in a meta that has lots of stressgiving like rebel captive, tactician everywhere, you can get stressed rather quickly so its a sort of counter to those stressgiving lists, i dont mind attacking into a rebel captive and taking a single stress with Lone Wolf, all i get is a free focus and can shed stress easily next turn :)

List #4

Turr Phenirr + PTL + Autothrusters

2x Omicron Group Pilot + tactician

1x Doomshuttle

List#5

Turr Phenirr + VI + Autothrusters

2x Omicron Group Pilot + tactician + advanced scopes

1x Doomshuttle

i like the ace in there to be PS9. Doomshuttle seems like an auto-include to finish off annoying stuff. I could simply go with 3x omicron + tactician. im leaning towards both tactician and vader crew in the same list for versatility.

Easy answer:

Venus Fel Trap

Fel + PtL

2x Omnicron + FCS

1x Omnicron + Vader

It won a major Vassal tournament (pre-Autothrusters).

i like this list. whats ur plans during setup and first exchange of fire?

I'll offer my thoughts and the more experienced can chip in.

I took a similar list to a store champ, with a few tweaks. My list was 3 naked ogps and AT/SD fel. All my matches were really close, with all of them going to time. Won some and lost some.

Deployment of the OGP's need to be spread out. Don't think too hard about getting someone in arc this turn, but rather set a long term flight-pattern through the asteroids where the OGPs arcs cover a lot of ground. It will usually be going around in some form of circle on one half of the board, two going one way and one going the opposite works well. Slow-play your cows whenever they happen to find themselves in a good position and then rush *euhm* back around. Fortressing mid-game can be a good last-resort-tactic.

My final match fo the day was against a vader/gunner/Isard Kenkirk and whisper with something. Soontir, having given initiative away, was able to arc-dodge whisper and unload at r1. Whisper died first round without firing once. The decimator then downed fel in return. I turned on the decimator and surrounded him with all three OGPs at r1-2. Big mistake. After deviating from the flight plan i had no way to recover. I took a few more shots, sure - but never with more than one of them in a single turn. Kenkirk wiped the floor. So - don't rush in and don't let fel die in first round (although the second part is difficult in that specific match-up).

I will also say this. I believe original venus fel trap to be superior to my list. And one more thing. The Gunner, tactician FCS OGP is awesomely fun to play. My personal favourite shuttle list is:

OGP - fcs, tact, gunner

OGP - vader

Backstabber

Carnor Jax - PTL

Venus Fel Trap

Fel + PtL

1x Omnicron + Vader

It was not my list, so I have never run it. Dom used extensive self-blocking to allow the Lambdas to move much more slowly than they could individually. FCS covers lost actions, and of course the Doomshuttle only cares about getting a shot in the first place. A triple large ship congaline also creates a big area where enemy ships cannot go. Most of his matches were effectively over before the shuttles had to worry about turning around. Fel played it safe until the enemy was committed. If you really, really want to see exactly what he did, the Vassal logs are still probably floating around on Team Covenant.

Patrol leader with Vader, Doom all around, oh you meant shuttles. <_<

IG-88 B&C with HLC Autothrusters and outmaneuver, like a buzzsaw they cut right... **** it! -_-

I'm normally only a lurker on the forums, but seeing love for the shuttle makes me so happy. I won the spring tournament at my store with this:

Fel - Push the Limit, Autothrusters, Royal Guard Tie, Targeting Computer

OGP x2

Doomshuttle

Put the OGPs in the corners and the doomshuttle towards the middle, but a few inches to one side (whichever you want to draw their forces to). Fel goes on the opposite side of the majority of your opponent's forces and flies out as fast as possible while your shuttles do a 0 or 1 on the first turn.
