Squads for regional! Need help and advice...

Hi guys

i think to play one of this two list for Regional, both scum.

Bobba + VI + Autoblaster + Rec Spec (or K4) + EU

Syndicate thug + blaster turrett + r4 agro + title

2x pirate z-95

tot. 100 p.ti

or

Bobba + VI + K4 (or Rec Spec) + EU + Seismic Charges

Aggressor B + predator + FCS (or Adv. Sens.) + laser cannon + autotrashers

tot. 99p.ti

on the first list, i think it's possible to change Bobba with aggressor B

what do you think about? what do you change?

are they competitive in current meta?

i need yours advice

I'd take off autoblaster.

Boba fett ability is alright, but shouldnt be flown into range one if your opponent controls alot of ships.

This is a mistake I see people make. Thinking he'll survive longer.

As for autoblaster, I'd rather have the extra attack dice.

I agree with Krynn007 about the Autoblaster. For your first list. I'd go with this instead maybe:

Boba (VI, Gunner, Inertial Dampeners, EU)

Hired Gun (Blaster, R4 Agro, BTL-A4 title)

Binayre Pirate x2

So a bit of a PS boost to the Y-Wing and Gunner + Inertial Dampeners on Boba, since he'll likely move last so ID could be key. Also, Gunner always triggers, for both firing arcs and if you happen to be at range 1 of one or more enemy ships, both attacks benefit from the rerolls.

As for your second list, maybe this:

Boba (VI, Navigator, EU)

IG-88B (Predator, Advanced Sensors, HLC, Inertial Dampeners, Autothrusters)

So Navigator on Boba even though it's not the Imperial version... I think it's a valid choice since you want to maximize your chances to get into range 1, preferably out of your opponent's arcs. The problem though could be that if you keep using EU, it leaves you with unmodifiable attack and defense (except if you're at range 1 of course). So I would be tempted to put Gunner on Boba here too (instead of Navigator) and removing ID on IG-88B to bring the build to 100 points.

I would drop the autoblaster and add feedback array to the Z's. Range 1 anti-soontir bubbles are extremely effective.

Oh, yes, I forgot you asked which build to play... I'd go with the 2nd one.

I like the second one better too. If you are running predator on B, I'd stick with Advanced Sensors. You'll still get a re-roll and the built in gunner ability, but you'll be unblockable. You will also be able to pull off boost and move shenanigans.

Predator is nice. It's like 1/3 - 2/3 of a TL for no action cost.

Tactician is good in the meta. Quite a few of the ships that are doing well do not like having stress. You'll see Soontir, Dash, and Corran with PTL quite often. Even some brobots run PTL. Anyone who's heavily reliant on actions hates stress. Engine Upgrade makes it more likely to work.

Not knowing what else is in your collection, it's hard to suggest other cards.

Depending on how you plan to fly your ships, Lone Wolf from the 2400 could be a good choice as well.

But Predator is probably my biggest suggestion ATM.

I would go with that. It's best to play something that you know.

That is very important advice. You will do much better running a build you know as opposed to something new.

Bobba and ig it's a list that i know. i've played more or less 15 times.

sure Oicuun + 4 x accademy pilot i played more, i think to make something new...

In this formation i have a doubt: equipment of oicuun... how can i spend the 10 point of his equipment? i think that predator and gunner work well but i don't know if the Title is so necessary or if there is something better

today while i was playing the list with the decimator and 4 tie, i think about the title of decimator: this equipment can be replaced with tactician!

perhaps it has a occasionally use ( only rage 2 and in your rage of fire) but i think that the decimator isn't always at rage 1 or 3 and it can work!

Unfortunately tactician only works when the enemy ship is at range 2 and in your firing arc, which won't be that common an occurrence when using a turreted ship.

i have this 2 point that i don't know how to use.

i'm thinking a lot but i don't find nothing of significative. 2 points are 2 points and i can't expect too much but i want use it well!

always yesterday i try the second list ( bobba+ 2x z95 + y ) vs meta squad chirenau + soontir

i had a good dice but also my opponent had them. so i kill soontir on third round and the decimator soon after.

i had lost only one Z and boba had make a great work with soontir (VI is a very good choice), 2x z 95 and Y played like swarm are very stronger
