so it looks like we have a few 300 point 3 on 3 games coming up ... knowing that the other will play a flanking role and a support roll I'm messing aroud with the idea of several low pilot skill hitters. Never used Tarn before so thought this might be fun

Your list looks fine for a bruiser group. Though, I might drop R7T1. I don't see it as that useful. But funny.

Maybe R3-A2 on Tarn or Hobbie or the Y.

why drop r7t1 .... i take a traget lock and can boost closer so that the 2 attacks from the y wing are close range.

i did think about r3-2a on the Y as it works well with the ion
But I like the idea of Tarn

so I get a free target lock on my attacker when they declare the attack ... then

"Once per round when defending, if you have a target lock on the attacker, you may spend the target lock to choose any or all attack dice. The attacker must reroll the chosen dice."

I make them re roll any hits or crits with the target lock. a fun way to annoy your attacker

P.S. r2d2 will be on wedge (one of the other players in the 300 point game
