Store Credit for teaching people how to play (Sunnyvale, CA)

By Comic Collector Shop, in Star Wars: Armada

Hey guys! Want to get new ships, just for playing the game and growing the community?
check out our schedule here at CCS (574 E. El Camino Real) https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/index.php?/topic/177767-ccs-organized-play-for-june-sunnyvale-ca/

You'll get $5 store credit for each Learn to Play session you complete on any of our Sundays (Use the game provided in the rulebook for this) and an additional $10 for each person who purchases or orders a starter kit of Armada. Best of all, we have out own store copy, so don't even need to worry about your stuff getting messed up!
So please, stop on by a show your friends who might be on the fence this awesome game!

Watch out for the Hellmouth, tho. >.> <.<

Srsly tho, that is a great idea, and kudos to you for rewarding mentors.

I am jealous that this is not my lgs...I want to earn more ships by playing :(

Nice idea! Too bad I'm halfway across the States.

Thank you. We'll only grow if the community grows!

You could always show this post to your LGS. Mileage may vary.

Well if you're ever around Cali, come check us out :)

I've been looking for an excuse to get into armada. I'll stop by on Sunday.

The store credit is for teaching people how to play Armada, not to learning to play. People who learn to play can purchase the store copy, or order their own starter set.

sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

Although, giving a small one-time only store credit for people who learn to play the game isn't a half-bad idea either. I mean, you want to get them hooked on the game, right?

It's like the mobile phone companies. The phone is pretty much free... the profit margin is in the add-ons. I'm often of the mind that stores may want to sell core sets barely above landed cost. Then keep the margin points on the blister packs.

We've been offering 10% off on core sets.
