Somebody posted this over at Dark Reign, and I thought it was kinda cool
Sound Effects generator
I looked around to see what else was available in the same genre, and came up with a few links that may be of interest to someone:

http://harvestsounds.sourceforge.net/
http://www.rpgsoundmixer.com/

Anyone have experience of adding ambience and sfx to their tabletop campaigns?
Nice find

This is a sound effects manager where you can put together your own mix in a very simple and user-friendly way. PERFECT for both fantasy, science-fiction and contemporary. VERY awesome.
I can't find the link right now, but the name is 'Mutant sound mixer', version 1.2. If you can find it, then you'll enjoy a very versatile sound mixer, which I use frequently in my games. It gives a WHOLE new depth to the game(s).
Update; I cannot find the link, hence I believe that it no longer exists on the web, which is a total shame. Very sorry, guys, for misleading you. If you find it, then use it. It's a perfect tool.
