Finally bought Descent. Already looking forward to more. ONLY thing I can't find out is what map tiles are needed to make the Hero/Monster pack quests?

Such as what expansions? Only the core game tiles?

All of the hero and monster packs require only the base game. In fact, to make it simple, the only expansion that requires anything other than the base game is the coop "Dark Elements," and it requires "Lair of the Wyrm."

Does Heir of Blood use anything from any of the expansions?

I understand why they want to make the box expansions standalone, but having quest books seems like it would a perfect avenue for combining expansions.

Heirs of Blood only requires the base game. In fact, it was the aftermath of the Heirs of Blood announcement that convinced me to take a mini campaign I was working on and turn it into "The Legacy of Timmorran," which uses almost all of the map tiles.

Nice. Speaking of which, I still need to get you a better version of the campaign log, with less ugly arrows and fix the text issues
