*This is more of a simple, "what would you like to see and what source material does it come from" type of forum.

I was interested in what the community thinks would be interesting additions to the X-Wing game.

As for me, I would love seeing some of the creations of the Rogue Squadron series being brought in. Such as the Tie Hunter from "Rogue Squadron 3".

However, if anyone can possibly fill me in, is there a particular source material Fantasy Flight is pulling from? General universe, particular books, comics, games, or original creations? We've seen some recent material being brought in, such as Juno Eclipse as a Tie Advanced pilot in the upcoming Imperial Raider Expansion.

So, what do you guys think is the trend? What would you like to see?

They just pull from the more well known EU ships, and they'll probably pull from Ep. 7 and the new movies as well.

I'd rather have Jar Jar Binks in the game. The only ship worse than the Overrated Lambda is the Missile boat.

How about the Ssi-ruu battle droid fighters? Could introduce new mechanics into the game.(think Carnor Jax but better)

I haven't personally read Truce at Bakura but they seem intriguing enough.

The Ssi-ruu use stolen "life force" to power their droid starfighters. It takes 2 lives to power(one for weapons and one for shields and propulsion) Would make for interesting game play decisions. After taking damage do I suffer loss some of my defensive or offensive capabilities.

I don't think its fair to say the Star Viper looks "Star Warsy" and the Assault Gunboat doesn't yet compare the Gunboat to the Lambda(which it obviously was taken from)

you would rather see jar jar? The shuttle is overrated? You don't like the missile boat? That is your response? That's not really telling me why you think what you think...

Though your comment about the star viper is much more revealing...and makes me severely question your ideas on what constitutes a proper looking star wars ship.

my issues with the space mosquito are well known and documented and I don't really want to go into them again...

Considering FFG managed to make the Defender not horribly broken, I wouldn't put the Missile Boat out of range

Also, Assault kriffing Gunboat already. I may think the Tai/pu looks nice, but it's not the right ship.

Well, I don't actually hate the Missile Boat. It's just that I hadn't seen a picture of it for over a decade so when I finally looked it up a few months ago, it didn't look as cool as it did when I was in high school. The Gunboat still looks cool because it's like a shuttle-turned-starfighter. Aesthetically, the K-wing is cooler than the Missile Boat, in my opinion. But so far, no ships have made me say, "That doesn't look like Star Wars."

Of course, this is all academic to me because I only plan on buying Scum ships from here on out. To that end, I need to see Dengar, 4-LOM, and Zuckuss in the next few waves. I also look forward to the Scum huge ship, whatever it turns out to be.

I don't necessarily need to see any more ships in particular beyond a few more scum including a huge ship for them. I am sure I will end up buying one of everything that comes out, however, what I am more hoping for are Aces packs with alternate paint schemes and more pilots. For Rebels, the E,Y, Z and HWK all only have 4 pilots, (only 2 unique each) and the same for the Defender, Bomber, and Phantom and most of the Scum ships. I would like to see those expanded so you have more to choose from for each ship. I would love an X-Wing Aces pack with titles for Rogue, Red or Wraith squad along with some X-wing specific upgrades.

I want scum B-wings, the punishing one (jump master 5000) with port and rear secondary arc and a port favouring assymetrical dial. I want the Rebels to have the Desert Jewel with Luke and Nakari as a pilot. I want Nym's havoc. I want the gozanti as an Epic that comes with a tie fighter.

I want episode VII's T-70 x-wing and the rear firing TIE/cog heavy fighter as well as a reissued Falcon with rectangular sensor dish.

I want. Captain Phasma as a crew card for the new shuttle.

Pulling from the books I would love to see in no particular order:

1. Talon Karrde and his ship/crew

2. The Chiss (Jagged Fel or Admiral Thrawn)

3. Hapan Consortium or at least Hapan Battle Dragons

4. Maybe even a 4th faction, the Yuuzhan Vong, with all their organic ships and weaponry
