Vessery + Rexlar - optimal build? (Casual)

Trying to figure out a good build.

Can't really settle on anything :/.

I was thinking something like this.

Rexler Brath — TIE Defender 37
Lone Wolf 2
Heavy Laser Cannon 7
Engine Upgrade 4
Ship Total: 50
Colonel Vessery — TIE Defender 35
Veteran Instincts 1
Heavy Laser Cannon 7
Proton Rockets 3
Engine Upgrade 4
Ship Total: 50

I don't think Rexler and Vessery go well together right now. If something increases the greens on the dial so Rexler can take PtL, that's a different story.
