So I had to cut out a fair bit of the inside of the Gladiator including half of the flight stand peg. And also with this one I was unlucky and the top of the hull took some damage.

However it fits and I think it ends up looking better then the Victory. I decided against doing the smaller engine due to their size and space limitations.

Here is the split before I started cutting out the inside.

Everything in besides the magnets to hold it together. One Battery + switch, 2x3mm Leds and 4x2mm Chip Leds. The switch is right beside the battery with the tinfoil on top. I used the tinfoil to create a barrier as i used greenstuff to build up the top of the switch so that when you pushed it you wouldn't push it though. I ended up needing to drill a hole for the switch and pushed it out the bottom. I have not painted it yet but you can hardly tell it is there.

And this is the finished result.

Two more to go and one more Victory. Then I will work on my Assault Frigate (still trying to figure out how to get it apart)

Do you have any pictures of the same kind of LEDs used that you could post? Really trying to understand all of this stuff. Thank you in advance.

I did use the Chip Leds for the hangars. One for each side hanger and two for the main hangar.

I got my chip leds from this website: He had a picture of them. I used the "Chip" size.

Chip LEDS are the same as SMDs (surface mount). They are designed to be mounted on a circuit board basically. They are the same LEDs used in my Vic II mod that we discussed. Some of those LEDs come pre-mounted, some don't.

Wow, I was toying with the idea of doing this. But with no prior knowledge I was a little apprehensive. Basically that site gives you all the info you need, brilliant.

I added a drop of glue from a hot glue gun on the thrusters and the ports to help diffuse the light a little more. Helps make it look a little more realistic imo.

I'm playing with a setup where the battery assembly is underneath the stand and using copper conductive tape on the very top of the support leg and hidden wires to transfer the power to the ship. It the tape doesn't work I'm just going to make some pins and a female interface for the model.
