Strategy: use my 10 point inititve bid to take 1st player.
use demolisher aggressively to inflict as much damage as possible in the first 2-3 turns (it should be able to kill at least one rebel ship in this time) and use the 2 victorys primarily to corral and drive my opponents ships away from objectives and attempt to corner and destroy them.
the ties are there as a basic screen and not expected to defeat the enemy fighters, i will however use squadron commands on turns 2-3 to use them to inflict as much damage as i can on the enemy fighters, demolisher will also use its 2 anti squad dice to assist them if necessary, i will then keep them out of fighting as much as possible and use them to interrupt any attempted bombing runs by my opponent.
I will generally keep all of my ships going at maximum speed and focus on destroying my opponent not fighter for the objective
should i become second player and 1 of my objectives is chosen i will use the following tactics
Advance gunnery-no change in my plan, i will select one of my victorys to be my objective ship
contested outpost- i will place the outpost near my side and deploy directly behind with both victorys which will stay near it with a combined 6 command to ensure i receive several tokens over the course of the game. my gladiator will remain to one side and function as normal
dangerous territory-i will deploy each of my ships directly behind an obtsicle so that in the first 2-3 turns they may retrieve a token other than that they will function as normal
