First 300 point fleet

Putting together an fleet for tomorrow's game night. Honestly, objectives confuse me and I mostly pick them at random. But are there any other obvious things wrong with the list or disfunctional statagey?

I plan sending the Victory class I in directly at the enemy fleet with the class II following with the squads. H9 turbolasers plus warlord will guartee damage on enemy squads and gunnery means I dont have to split my attacks. The class two will send the TIES at enemy bomber formations when they engage the class one or stay and screen the class II.

My biggest concern for the squads is that they are too few and too fragile to stay in a fight. With Howler and flight controller the Interceptors are throwing down 6 die. Great for an alpha strike but they are all made of basal wood.

I would upgradea tie fighter to another interceptor by dropping the defense liasion but I dont have another model. I just have access to the core set, one fighter pack and an extra Victory star destroyer.
