So I have started to work on my first cosplay attempt and need a little help. My costume will be a "Royal Guard Champion" and I am torn between two choises, Kir Kanos or Carnor Jax.
To bring this back to Imperial Assault, I will be painting my Royal Gaurd Champion the same way my costume is. For a reference of the two check out the cover for this issue: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Crimson_Empire_6

The one in Imperial Assault is Carnor Jax, someone somewhere didn't like the name and it got changed to Royal Guard Champion. It's still unique though, and I believe there are prototypes where he's called Carnor Jax.
I'd go with Carnor if you're painting the miniature that way. Going as Kir Kanos is really just going as a Royal Guard.
I personally am planning on painting my RGC as Kir Kanos, as I like him better and would actually define him as a champion of the Empire, rather than Jax who wanted the power for himself.
