Darth Vader has the following bonus effect : While attacking, each of your "crit" icons adds 1 damage to the damage total.

But the rules on page 15 of the LtP states that they ignore critical icons. So I guess that Darth Vader's "crit" do 1 damage against Starfighters and against ships (even if he doesn't have Bomber).

Am I right ?

However, he doesn't actually have bomber so he does not get to resolve a critical effect when he roll a crit symbol vs a ship, he just gets the extra damage not the special effect.
