I just got slaughtered by a scum Kath+Boba with feedbacks, HLC and Pred on Boba and K4 and something else on Kath. It seemed like a better version of brobots, that rear arc is killer, and the guy flew well enough to the point if I dodged in close to bump one and get out of the arc of the other I got double bugzapped. I fly fine against 1, but what do you guys fly against 2?
Dealing with 2 Firesprays
2 firesprays can be annoying if you don't bring many ships, because you lack the firepower to focus one down quickly. However, if you have higher PS its pretty easy to stay out of either firing arc since the blind spots are larger than the actual firing arcs. Focus fire is still essential, because dropping them down to one ship really cuts down on the amount of return fire you take. They also don't like asteroids much, so making a big cluster in the middle usually mucks up their game plan. It also takes a bit to get used to the way they fly (most good players want to use the rear arc as much as possible, so once you understand that, predicting their moves becomes easier).
My advice for you is to either build a list that has a lot of firepower, what that would be would be up to you, or the follow the old saying "if you can't beat them, join them" and build a dual Firespray list yourself.
I was flying my Biggs + Keyan + Greenie, granted Vassal dice screwed me over and Biggs went down in the second turn of the game (natural 3 hits from kath and natural 2 + crit + focus for boba and my dice blanked) but I definitely had a "****, this is really strong regardless of dice" moment.
