So both builds have weak and strenght.

If you opponent is action-dependent, like Interceptor or phantom, it is enough to double-stress it once - and he dead.

If you fight against YT - you need more firepower, so I recommend second list (and do not take flachette canon - use ion cannon instead).

with second list I was 7\16 at local tournament one day ago (don't have a lot of practice)

Just did a store tournament with a BYBY. It was made on the fly, and never used it before.

Ywings had ion turret, BTL titles and R2 astromech droids.

Bwings had ion cannon.

It did very well against a Yt1300/2400 list. Lost a single Ywings and knocked both turrets out.

Next match I traded a Bwing for a shuttle with Vader, lost by one point at time. It was very close. Opponent had Fel and a decimator.

Third match was z95 Ewing and chewie. I fumbled that one and dice failed me. Ewing ripped me to shreds and I lost both Bs in trade for the Z95.

I think I'll lose the droids as they weren't really used. That gives me four points to use as the initiative bonus wasn't helpful either.
