I've ordered my BSG Board game, and though it's not arrived yet I've studied the rules, but I do have one question that I'm not sure if actual gameplay will answer.

If a player gets to examine another player's loyalty cards and he makes an open accusation, what happens to the accused cylon player? Does he go to the brig, the resurrection ship, or does he stay in play until he officially reveals himself?

I live in Cape Town South Africa and am only getting my game from the States end October, but really looking forward to being part of the community.

An accusation is only that: an accusation. It's not an action or anything, so the players will have to decide what to do of it, if they trust the accusing player, if they brig the accused one and so on.

As noted accusations have no impact on the game, although they may influence the players. So if you look at a players loyalty cards then accuse them as a cylon it just opens up lots of decision trees for the other players and will influence what actions they will take on their turns.

If they believe you they can move to the admirals quarters and try to throw that person in the brig, if they don't believe you they can move to the admirals quarters and try to throw you in the brig. Also if they are a cylon they can try to help out the accused. And finally if they haven't been thrown in the brig by the time they get an action then they can reveal themself as a cylon, trigger their reveal ability and laugh all the way to the ressurection ship.
