Contemplating Elves: Speculation on faction themes

By dormouse, in Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game

So at some point in the not horribly distant future (fingers crossed) we'll be getting the Companion Set with High and Dark Elves. We have some examples of their cards already in the Core Set by which can can base a little speculation on what themes they may have, but not nearly enough to tell for sure whether it is a true theme or just an interesting mechanic they threw into the Core Set to help round out te forces of Order and Destruction.

Do we have any speculation? High Elves seem to have healing ability. They may also have some form of card advantage or giving a benefit to their player after they have been damaged (maybe a alternate version of the way Orc units get powered up when they are damaged). They may also have some sort of Corruption resistance. Anyone have any speculations if not based on the cards in the Core Set then based on the Warhammer Mythos? What about the Dark Elves? They seem to have some sort of damage or HP manipulation ability as well as resource denial. Any speculation on what other themes may be?

I expect High Elves are going to be very protection and anti-corruption oriented. I see them being a very control themed deck much like White decks in MtG.

Dark Elves are raiders and slavers. I have a feeling they may include some sort of quest or units that are attached to that. I would expect more cards to do with manipulating enemy cards (or resources) as well. Possible units that can sacrifice other units since Witch Elves are fond of sacrificing other Dark Elves to Khaine.

I could definitely see all of that. It'll be interesting to see which way they take them. I'm also eagerly awaiting the Skaven Battle Packs.
