So here's my idea at a list using a tie defender, because damnit it's my favorite ship and I want it to work! Anyways, I am going to be testing this for a local tournament (probably around 10 people showing up). I will have -very- limited chances to try this, so I'm hoping for any suggestions. Here goes.

So here's my thinking... Rexler gets a reroll or 2 every turn with predator, and a focus to use to convert to hits, as well as a focus for flipping everything up. The VI on Commander Kenkirk lets me shoot with him first, taking shields down before Rex shoots, also both being at PS8 lets me choose who to move first. Kenkirk and Ysanne to keep him as tanky as can be, with Tact Jammer so I can hide Rex behind him.

Any thoughts and ideas are welcome, the only rock solid thing I'd like to keep is a defender. I've given thought to maybe Fel/Rexler/Spacecow with Fleet Officer? I dunno.

I looked at an interesting Rexler/Fett list

I plan to use.

I like it, Fett at PS10, I feel like I'd wanna run Fett with Navigator, but I guess Reb Cap is prolly better. I miss the synergy not having fleet officer though.

Okay, so two games in, sort of. First game vs fel/whisper/dark curse. Neither of us had played in about 8 months, and I'd say rusty flying was mvp. I 1 shot fel at range 1 primary arc with kenkirk, and 2 turns later whisper was dead and we called it. My ships were pretty much untouched.

Game 2 he played bbbbz which I feel is a pretty solid counter to my list, with how quick Bs can end a decimator, and 5 shield Bs make rexlers ability tough to use. I'd say we both made about the same amount of mistakes and the same amount of nicely placed moves, it ended with a b at full strength vs kenkirk with 2hp. I got the b to 2hp before losing, though I would have won on time in a tournament setting. I didn't get to use rexlers move a single time, and only got 2 actual turns of fleet officer working. Keeping a vt49 and a defender together proved very difficult. I feel it would've worked much better to go with lone Wolf on Rex and swapping fleet officer for eu. Overall I think I may just revamp the list to maybe use vessery instead.

Excellent synergies between those two. Beware for stress lists, though.

If stress lists are prevalent in your community, swapping PTL for Lone Wolf is viable.
