Keeping track of what ships are yours.

By Deathseed, in Star Wars: Armada

For games in public spaces (such as your LGS) where knowing what's yours can be important, I find these useful:

They are small enough to fit on Armada bases, so I just stick one to the bottom of each base (especially squadrons). That was in public games, when the fighters get all mixed up, I can recover my figures when all is said and done. Particularly helpful for same faction and team fights.

Plenty of them per pack to be able to pick a color and stick with it. I prefer red :D

And they're cheap.

Another way is to spray paint your stands (Black, Red and Blue seem to fit best with the setting, but any color works). Just make sure your cardboard is off the stand, get a newspaper, go outside, spray, wait 1/2 an hour, flip and spray again, boom. For squadrons this is a little trickier, but totally doable.

I spray painted all of my ship and squadron bases and stands flat black last week when it was crazy warm out. Dried in no time. Gonna use an old toothbrush and some white paint next time it's hot out to put on some stars.

Admittedly, it's more useful to the painting averse such as me.

My ship bases are airbrushed black, while my squadron bases have washers hot glued to the bottom, both for weight and identification.

Might have to spray all my bases chrome... everyone else seems to be doing black already.

All my ships and fighters are actually painted, so no issues...

You will ride eternal, shiny and chrome

I use the tokens that come in the box

Which can be useful, unless others are using the same numbers, markers, etc.

Fip from light to dark?

I colour all of my cardboard pieces black around the edges, using a sharpie.

You live. You die. You live again.

Good song that one.
