I don't think it's gone 'On the Boat' yet. It may of updated that way by mistake though, that seems to happen from time to time. Someone at FFG updates the wrong thing.

now im starting to wonder if it was simply a QA issue. With Armada wave I delayed, but now finally in our hands it can't simply be shipping delays can it?

My guess is that perhaps the Raiders were unacceptable quality and FFG is having them re-made or re-painted by a different factory.

FFG has X amount of production... and now has BOTH Armada and X-wing stuff to print.. something had to give... that's MY theory!! and since Armada was receiving the BIG push the raider got pushed back....

What makes you think they are using the same factory and/or supplier for both games? There are lots of factories in China and tons of companies that do this. I don't think armada is having the effect so many would like to think it is...and even if they are the same supplier, you think ffg hasn't learned from the smash hit xwing turned out to be? I am sure they plan xwing and armada separately and have separate factories working on each. Putting both games in the same factory makes no sense and never has...

I on!y do a major preorder about once a year, and... Yeah, we've moved about that often. Once when I got married, then we bought a house, a year later she got a dream job 500 miles from home, so we moved to a temp apartment, then a real apartment, and now we're buying a condo. *grumble*

And it's probably bad business to spread around that your manufacturer had a bad batch, hence us all being left in the dark about it.

Well there's no hurry I suppose. Since I'll have to buy Armada Wave 1 this payday, it'd be nice to have another one before the Raider ships.

If thats true, then we'd be looking at August at the earliest since there are regionals scheduled right up to the very end of July.

Yeah I've given up. I'm going into my flgs tomorrow and cancelling my pre order. Maybe I'll consider preordering if it ever makes the boat but i'm so fed up of waiting for it i'm just going to forget it ever got announced and just carry on with life where epic is rubbish because imperials have no ships and the advanced is just a cool looking desk ornament.
