1st tournament

So i will be playing in my 1st Armada tournament and i'm not sure what to use, if i should go with something straight forward or something more complex.

On list1 if you don't go against any bomber lists and fly well you should do good.

List two is a lot like my current one. You need sensor team on the glad and should upgrade it to 2 for the red dice. I have gone back and forth between having the hangers and flight controllers. My current list runs 10 tie bombers.

That's potent, but what happens when they get engaged by any space superiority fighters? Even with Rhymer an opponent with a moderate CAP could screen your approach. If you've been able to mitigate that, am very interested in your approach/tactics.

Also, I'm not trying to imply your approach wouldn't work, I am curious as that many bombers seems to have one heck of an Achilles heel.

While a ship heavy boom boom imperial fleet seems nice, I'd be far to terrified doing so knowing that all but one rebel squadron has Bomber. And the one that doesn't, the A-Wing, uses a black die.

yeah which is why i'll probably use the more balanced list 2

id drop the veterans from both ships. and a bomber. up the glad to a 2. add yolaren to ensure you ALWAYS have a concentrate fire token or a navigate token.

I used to think Fel and the major were goodbut they are more of just a point sink. If you want to be able to keep up with the rebel fighters take as many interceptors as you can and strike first.

well i went 2-1, i wasn't impressed by the VSD 1, it hardly got to shoot, Rhymer's Bombers and the Gladiator did most of the damage.
