When prompted to spend a die to resolve an ability, do you remove it from the pool before it is rolled, or do you choose one of your dice that have been rolled?
When you "spend a die", do you spend it before or after it's rolled?

And yes this means you can spend a die that rolled a blank, which gives you another hit/crit/accuracy for nothing.
