Gladiator disassembled.

By InvisibleCalm, in Star Wars: Armada

Gladiator disassembled using my fingers... Most of the glue wasn't even holding, and the two tower sections actually fell out when I pulled the model from the factory packaging. The majority of the sections were actually "popped" showing gaps between each piece. it took me less than a minute to pull everything apart.

Fantastic. Thank you for posting this! Now I just need to work up the nerves to do the same to mine and light it!

Yeah, it's going to be an incredibly tight squeeze to get the battery into the hull, which is what I wanted to do. But there's plenty of room to get LEDs in there. I don't know if I was "lucky" or what, but only 1 of 6 glue points had actually adhered correctly (you can see the white damage on the inner hull). Everything else just came apart. The one nice thing, it all assembled back together very snugly. You actually cannot tell that the thing has ever been ripped apart when it's re-assembled. I do plan on magnetizing the posts for a better hold, though. I'll probably glue the tower together (after sanding the paint/wash off the contact points).

Oh I'm sure we can get a battery and some lights in there!
