I'm using X Wing Squadron Builder and X Wing Companion a lot. Is there any word on similar apps for Armada?

Considering Disney has been taking down apps for Star Wars miniature games with cease and desist orders, I don't expect any soon. nothing more frustrating then putting in a lot of your free time making something good only for the IP owner exercising their rights to tear your project down even though it doesn't cost them any money.

However with copyright laws the sorry state they are in where one unlicensed, unsolicited use of their IP opens the floodgates for anyone to sell their brand I sort of see why they do that. Sort of, not exactly agree with though.

There are several X-wing apps though. Some aren't listed on the store, but you can still download them and the forum community is pretty good about providing those links.

I just want basically the same thing for armada. I love making X-wing lists on the train home from work and I wish I could do the same with Armada. Honestly, if I could program an app I'd do it myself. Sadly I'm just a simple attorney who can't code.

What are you folks using for up to date data files? The last I tried does not include any of the "unspoiled" wave one cards, Chiraneau, Flight Controllers, Adv Projectors etc.

They updated the Battlescribe Aramada files last week. Open your app and it should autoupdate. If it doesn't report back and I'll see if we can help you get the updated files.

I just downloaded the Armada file from their auto setup link.

I haven't checked out Battlescribe. Adding that to my to-do list.

Thank you much. Don't know what I was using or how I missed that particular file, but it does include all of the cards I was missing.

There is SW Dice app made by FFG so that you don't have to buy the dice pack for all the SW games

Honestly FFG should swallow the bullet and just make an app themselves.

They have apps for other games, made a silly dice app that is just a novelty app, so it's not like they don't have an app development team. They just need to know what customers will buy.

I myself will never buy a stupid dice app. (I am not sure why they made it. Did they take a poll or use a test group?) But a fleet building app with rules references? Hell YES.

Hey FFG, if you made an Armada Fleet building app with rules references and FAQ's it would sell like mad.
