Summer Kit 2015
I still don't understand "dice bags" in a game that requires no more than 12 dice (6 red, 6 green), but can be played just fine with 6. IMHO it seems like a prize with no purpose.
Now if this were 40K and you were playing Orks and needed to roll 100+ D6 on the charge...
Not sure what would be a good substitute prize though...Maybe 4 posters the same size and artwork used in the event announcement poster (I always try to get one of them after the event, frame it and hang them in the kids bedroom; Imps for The girl, Rebs for the Boy). Or maybe multiple sets of cards from previous kits (2 or 3 cards, either all the same generic ships...Academy Pilot, Scimitar Squadron, Blue Squadron, etc or a set of cards with 1 each).
But dice bags? Meh.
How about gift certificates to JoAnn Fabrics so we can buy more plastic organizers to hold our increasing number of ships?
Is it me or does the point value of that crew card appear to be 4?
Kinda looks like a 4 to me as well. Is there confirmation that this is Rec Spec, and not something like Flight Instructor?

Yea... 90s ducks too.

What is the Vulcan female compensating for?
The 90s were a golden age of shoulder pads.
Cable must have bought a ton of baby powder and chafing cream if he really wore that vest with no shirt under it.
Also, those are some really weirdly shaped golf drivers on his back.
People wore them in real life as well. It was horrible.

Stop... Hammer time!

Are you confusing Tactician (deals stress at range 2) with Flight Instructor (reroll eyeballs when defending) and/or Recon Specialist (focus action gives 2 tokens) ?
Ixidor...thats a Romulan, get it right or you shall incur the wrath of angry Spock!
At least it's not the picture of Dash from the Star Wars CCG...he looked like some one blew up the last Taco Bell in Demolition Man
I was hoping for some S&V alt cards.
Xizor and Guri to name a few.. Ig88 would be a funny too.. (Which one would get the card ABCD)
Also those dice bags are getting old..
There was already an Guri alt-art. Given out at Adepticon.
is the other card a Recon Specialist

I would definetely pick a dice bag over any poster or decorative thing like that (post cards, stickers) because I believe most people don't really put up random posters on their walls, while everyone can benefit from a nice baggy - be it for dice, damage decks, tokens (if it holds properly) or even random collectibles. They are just the most useful little accessory you could get - no keychain, phone strap or any other little thing would be just as useful at this price range. ![]()

Romulans came from a group of Vulcans who reject Surak's teachings known as "those who march beneath the Raptor's wings."
I am technically correct in calling her a Vulcan. That is the best kind of correct.
**** ... no Imperial Gunner to get rid of the Wookies ... ![]()
So has this become available to order yet?

That's actually one of the more restrained pictures of 90s-era Cable that I've ever seen.
You want crazy shoulders and proportions, then you really need to get some Liefeld up in here.

It hasn't even been officially announced yet, so I doubt you'll miss the deadline any time soon.
Well, I'm sorry if it is dissapointing but store owners in Poland had a deadline till last Friday. Don't know how different it can be for retailers in US, but I assume, that it should be the same.
Prize kits for Poland are translated, right? That may be the case for deadline difference ![]()
I didn't know Dash was a lumberjack. But that's ok he sleeps all night and works all day.
That's not plaid.
Those are SHOULDER PADS.
Because 90s.

You were given a fake.
I like most aspects of FFG: Their models are usually top-notch, their customer service is quick and responsive, and their game designer (well, Alex Davy at least) seems to care about the customer base/fanbase.
However, I find FFG's organized play model rather lackluster. Many other companies give out actual figures for prizes (e.g. Heroclix). I don't expect nor do I want FFG to design OP-exclusive figures. (That would make collecting the figures too difficult for some.) However, it would be cool if they would have prize kits that include existing ships, but with an alternate paint scheme, as prizes. (The prize ships would come with the same side items as a regular retail ship - e.g. dials, tiles, etc.).

Here is the issue with that. They would have to be made over in China. So, the prize kits would be subject to all the same kind of delays the regular releases. And it would happen. Just ask anyone who plays Wizkids games about delays in the prize kits. Not to mention requiring being much less flexible in how many could get them. Also a problem with Wizkids prizekits.
I understand the desire somewhat. But I get a tick whenever someone mentions Wizkids in terms of official play prizes.
