Hello all, so I wanted to get into learning how to paint my ships. Of my ships I feel the one I would like to paint most are my lambdas, as they are generally one of the staples in my list. The problem I have is I am not the most creative person when it comes to this stuff, so what better way to get ideas then the forums. I have 2 space cows currently and I want them to feel like different ships with the paint job. Here are the themes I want to try to have on the ships

1. A doomshuttle feel, was thinking going with a full black with some silver and crimson thrown on it, but yeah I'm not the most creative

2. Space cow, yeah I want to do something involving this but I don't want it to look dumb, the space cow needs to be the killer that it is

3. Saber squadron, I often run a cow and soontir in a squad together, so would like something that fits in with the squadron

4. Royal guard, because I think if done right the Crimson can look nice, but would want to try including other things with it

Yeah so I have some simple ideas but they aren't much now, any help would be appreciated!

I've already done the space cow. =) Its super.

For the Doomshuttle, I say go dark green and silver. The Dr. Doom-shuttle.

Im pretty sure you can find examples that other people have done that would fit all four of those schemes. I know my own shuttle would fit fairly well with Soontir since I painted it with some blood stripes, but theres enough of it that It could pass for a Royal guard shuttle as well.

I just posted a new topic of my blood stripped shuttle. It looks great escorted by the stripped interceptor or Ties.

It just occurred to me that what would be very innovative would be to paint the shuttles wings like TIE fighter solar panels. And then with a blood stripe over that, it would look really bad ass.
