Gladiator / Assault Frigate Mark II - Disassembly
Peeled the assault frigate apart very easy. Peel from front to back, flex side wings gently to help pop the back. It is glued but it cracks easy.
plz post pics
Would love to, but I already put it back together with new converted parts. Sorry guys.
The question is posted to explore possibility of adding internal engine lights (LED's).
As a complete noob to LEDs, is there a brand or type I should avoid? So far the only brand I have seen around these parts is Lillypad, and they are very expensive.
Got my Gladiator today. As I was opening the package, this happened:

And the towers split into two pieces (link because it's a bigger image):
Nothing super glue cant fix, and it will be (obviously) better than new. I literally pulled the engines out of my VSD with my fingers when I got it; the glue used at the factory is very weak. I recommend gorilla glue brand super glue, it strong dries fast (but still let it set for 24 hours to be certain) and does not frost the surrounding areas.
Yeah, I can see the glue puddles in each piece... I don't know if the glue is reacting to the wash or the paint or what, but it's not really gluing much. For not I've pushed the pieces back together, I think the'll hold under normal ware and tare. Had a simular problem with my VSD. I'm holding off till I decide if/how I'll re-paint and maybe light the models...
