A while back there was a thread about whether you could use Abelia's Friendship if the top card of your deck was revealed and I don't remember what the final verdict was so I was wondering if you could use effects that require you to reveal the top card of your deck (Hunt for Jin, Researching Anywhere etc.) if Razor's Bite effect is in place.
Razor's Bite and reavilng effects
Yes, you may still use cards and effects that require you to reveal the top card of your deck. Since the top card is already revealed you don't really have to "reveal" it again, but you still get the rest of the effect.
Actually, I'm not so sure about this. Normally a card that is revealed, is only revealed temporarily (EG Skullduggery etc.). RB is an exception to that, in that it reveals until the end of turn. You can't commit a committed card, you can't ready a ready card, so obviously you can't reveal a revealed card.
While that does sound like perfect logic, and I would normally agree with it... however.
If I make you reveal a card at random from your hand and then do it again, you have to shuffle the first revealed card into your hand so I can choose at random, if I choose the same card again, then it will have been revealed twice.
A commited card can't be commited because by definition to commit a card is to change a card from a readied state to a commited state (and vice versa with readied cards), whether a revealed card can be revealed isn't mentioned in the AGR. Another scenario could be a player has his/her hand revealed for the turn by You're Mind is Known To Me or From the Hawk, Alertness could that player use something like Purified Body? Purified Body's cost is to reveal your hand, but since it's already revealed one could argue that it couldn't be played.
This is a case of:
Can you use Recon then Hunt for Jin?
vs.
Can you use Razor's Bite then Hunt for Jin?
One of them reveals both cards temporarily, one of them has the card revealed. I want to go with yes on both, but I'm not positive on it.
