I would like to start a thread designed for people who'd like to encourage FFG to reprint those expansions that are out of print. Any support would be appreciated.
reprints plea
So does everyone here already have the expansions or does nobody want them?
my guess (and its only a guess based on message from Mr Borg a while ago) is that your wish for army packs may well include these existing goblin and dwarf units and if they are 'planning' such packs but aren't ready to officially announce a release date they may feel that reprinting may not be the best idea for them.
I'm watching and waiting (I don't have them yet but will probably hang fire for the army packs...

What I really want first in the 100 Years War expansion first.
Once I found out FFG had taken over I bought all the expansions up...though it would be good to reprint those expansions so the game doesn't become a collectible

I did the same. I purchased every Battlelore expansion, including the creatures, within a month of purchasing the game because I noticed that the expansions were becoming difficult to find. Now it is very difficult to find the good ones.
That is a fear I want resolve before buying into this game. After all the base games is rather pricey and I hate to love it and want those expansions only to find them permanently unavailable. For me it would be better to have never tried the game tio begin with.
Then try it out online, on Vassal first.
I'm sure Fantasy Flight will reprint the 100 Years War expansion, as long as there is enough demand to do so. The biggest question is whether there is enough demand. Hopefully the release of Heroes, Creatures and Dragons will spark additional interest in Battlelore for Fantasy Flight's marketing department realize that they can make a decent dollar for making a re-print.
Fantasy Flight seems to be trying to prevent Battlelore from being a collectible game in my opinion. They are re-releasing the Earth Elemental and Hill Giant (as slightly different characters based upon their card info) in the Creatures pack. These characters were initially given away upon pre-ordering Battlelore when Days of Wonder owned the rights. I had to get them off ebay a while back.
My feeling is that it is just a matter of time until they re-print 100 Years War. Until then, there are plenty of other expansions out there to tide you over.
I agree with the points made here. I'm not good at creating scenarios. I like the user scenarios along with the official ones. So I don't want to be frustrated by the fact thsat many of them use figures, etc. from expansions that I can't get.
Incase it helps. These are / were the official scenarios list. (E) = Epic GS Goblin Skirmishers etc. Part of a spreadsheet for listing terrain reqs for my Kallistra / Battlelore terrain project.

Only if said 'Army Packs' were restricted to the units of the prior expansions and not combined with new units. I already own two complete sets of the game for epic stuff so I for one would definitely NOT buy an army pack if its including both new and prior units.
I would be happy for each reprint. Just joining to the game.. And it quite saddens me that about half of the expansions are cannot be found....
It can be hard to find. They are still out there though. Good luck to you finding them. I am sure FFG will put out some reprints again too once they sell the three new sets coming out soon.

I find myself in the odd position of skipping all of the expansions and then buying them all at once from one person selling them. Aa few months after that, FFG bought the game. I'm not entirely convinced I need any of the unit expansions. Maybe now's a good time to sell them on eBay?
I'm not sure about Call to Arms either. I WILL keep Epic for sure though. It's not that the expansions are bad, mind you. I just don't know if I play often enough to really need them. But surely FFG will reprint them and remove the temptation from me...
i saw a copy of the 100 years exp going cheap but i had no mony at the time i went back the next day and it was gone.................
what you americans have problems for the 100 year war expansion in germany we got many of them i got 4 mint,
we we are out in in to the arms and , some other goblin expansions.
the biggest problem that we have are the missprint cards in the basic set, dow told us if there comes a 2nd run we got the cards. but now we are konw that in short ime never comes a 2nd edition, because the game runs bad.
sad sad sad
I also noticed that the expansion availability was dwindling and so like others quickly finished buying the ones I did not have. Most expansions, up till recently, were pretty readily available. However 100 year war was difficult to locate. I've run across two places that claimed to have it, only to have them mail me back and say it is now out of stock. There have been one or two show up on ebay. But not many. Thats where I ended up getting mine. Good luck!
Count me in on wanting Reprints!!!
Especially 100 years war
Just purchased Battlelore, and am more than a bit dissapointed that so many of the expansion sets are out of stock. If a company fails to maintain a back catalog, it discourages new players from getting into the system. It's bad business, beacuse you fail to expand your user base and lose an enormous number of back catalog sales. It's pretty apparent that tehre is a demand when every hobby/card/game store on the web shows things like Hundred Years war out of stock.
I hope FFG commits to re-releasing these expansions soon. I'm one of thousands of guaranteed sales, but until I know the entire set of expansions isn't just for the few, I'll be holding back my purchases in this line. I love Borg's C&C games, but don't want to play something that isn't complete.
George from Miami
I too would buy any reprints as I missed out on getting them the first time round. I don't feel like I should be getting the Scottish Wars expansion, without a Goblin one to even up the sides!
Count me in as someone who'd buy 100 years war. Especially now that Heroes is out.
