I'm so used to being on forums where everybody has a completely unique avatar that I often just glance at the avatar to tell who is saying what.

The problem here being that multiple people have identical avatars, so I sometimes think that somebody is saying something that they really aren't. Or there are two people (or more) in a thread with the same avatar and I start feeling like somebody have multiple personality disorder, even though it's just me glancing at the avatar and not looking at the names.

It also subsequently creates an issue where I glance at the avatar, see the same avatar I use and think to myself, "Wait, I never said that. This doesn't even look like the way that I write. Has my account been hijacked? Oh, wait. That's not me."

(And that's why I went from the image of a Firespray to an unkindness of ravens. I'd much rather have a more Star Wars-appropriate avatar. But everybody seems to be using the same dozen Star Wars avatars.)

I'd like S&V avatar options. Like a Scum Firespray. Or a StarViper. Or S&V-themed Z-95s and Y-Wings. Or a TIE Defender. Or a TIE Avenger. Or a Raider-class Corvette. And I'm sure guys would like to see some Armada-themed avatars: ISDs, VSDs, GSDs, SSDs, CR-90s, Nebulons, MC80s, Assfritoos, &c.

Yup, whenever Kyrios Mirage posts, I go, wait I didn't say that!

I might be tempted to change if they had some nice E Wing or K wing avatars, but right now I like mine, its unique.

Hey guys! They now have Star Wars: The Card Game avatars! There are only a small handful. I noticed Nathankc had changed his to a Stormtrooper so I checked it out. Unfortunately, still no Zuckuss, but I can wait. Not many people have the spider as their avatar.

While I appreciate the heads up, I don't see anything to make me replace my Chaos Dragon Thing. Yet.

I thought about it, but I'm really starting to like this fez guy. Also, no one else seems to use it.

The thing is big 'moan' threads don't go anywhere. There are tons of posts and only a few forum mods which i expect mod more than one forum.

I would imagine they dont read a thread unless its 'reported' for offensive content etc.

On the flip side everytime i've sent a polite PM to a mod its been responded to really quickly.

Sending a few polite PMs got us the extra sub forums.

If anyones mad passionate about new avatars, send a friendly polite inquiry about them to the mods would probably be the best bet.

You're unlikely to get the option to upload you own image as the potential for abuse is massive as any new 'registrant' could upload an offensive image. It would mean they would have to check every profile pic uploaded.
