Seen a lot of 'describe your character' threads on here figured I'd try something a little different.

Post a moment from any session that was memorable for instance.

Two of our ships crew members are Bounty hunters so occasionally the rest of us will help them.

once we had to hunt down a tusken raider who was stealing speeders, we found him along with his clan of sand people.

We ah quickly dispaced most of his mates and corned him in the garage with a few others, now my character was using a vibrosword at the time and was having fun throwing one tusken raider at another, and i uh think i was beginning to annoy my GM since the leader of these tusken raiders pulled out a flipping Thermal Detonator which he threw, bounced off my head landed at my feet and blew up sending my PC flying into the wall. Yeah the rest of my team got caught in the blast but yeah i got hit........................the punchline? I survived for 3 reasons 1 i have a high wound threshold, 2 i have a high soak, 3 we had a medic on hand with a working bacta tank.

But yeah So any cool storys?

My gaming group was on Tatooine trying to locate a hero of the Old Republic. The only clue we had came in the form of an old scout who knew where the hero was supposedly hiding. The problem? Twofold; 1) When we caught up to the scout the small oasis he was hiding out in came under attack by the bounty hunters who were also hunting this Old Republic hero and 2) The scout was immediately taken out by a sleep dart from one of the bounty hunters, rendering him unconscious.

During the firefight, one of or group (who no one trusted because he tended to do awful stuff like kill our Imperial prisoners while no one was looking by throwing them out of the airlock at lightspeed to see what colors they would turn) was tasked with protecting the scout (who was lying in heap next to his chair) and getting him to the speeder while the rest of us fought off the bounty hunters.

During the ensuing struggle, one of the bounty hunters tossed a thermal detonator at the group. Thinking quickly, our Sentinel used Move to toss the detonator over the roof of the shelter behind us to the other side of the oasis. The GM upgraded a difficulty die to a despair die and indeed, success but a despair was rolled. The GM decided that the thermal detonator bounced along the roof and came down next to Mynock (said character) who was dragging the scout to the speeder. Ever the team player, Mynock quickly threw the unconscious scout onto the thermal detonator to soak up the blast and dove for cover, surviving without a scratch at the cost of the poor scouts life.

When the rest of us finally broke the assault we went to the speeder only to find a smoking scout and Mynock dusting himself off. When we asked him what in the name of the Force happened he stared us dead in the eyes and without missing beat said;

"I don't know! I was walking along dragging Arno just like you asked me to, when I felt something hit me in the back. Next thing I know there was an explosion and when I turned around he was like that!"

We all stared open jawed ... we all knew what he did, but there was absolutely no way the scene didn't fit exactly with how he said it went down >.<
