I have been running this and I seem to be annihilating a lot of combinations.

A friend of mine has said a "Swarm build" would be able to take it out however, either I was rolling dice like a demon or something is up, I was killing 2 ship at a time focus firing, this build seems to have High damage output and high manoeuvrability as well.

Please pop my bubble and tell me what is a direct counter to this build?

Three high ps interceptors?

BBBBZ usually does it. You might kill a B in the first round of engagement but you would have to roll perfectly on two attack and he'd have to wiff both defense rolls. Problem you face is getting good shots without exposing one of your IGs to a lot of return fire. Its not an unwinnable match up by any means, but if he can get in and block you and setup a lot of close range shots with his B-wings, your 8 Hitpoints will go quick.

Its going to be easier to block you if you PTL. The IG has a ton of green on its dial, but its all banks and straights. With 5 ships its very easy to block a big base.

Corran is also a great counter. He doesn't need VI to move after and he can really hurt one of your ships in one round of shooting. Especially if he can get within range 1. But there isn't a whole lot that Corran doesn't counter.

Three high ps interceptors?

You'd have to fly them pretty perfectly. If you manage to get one in arc, they tend to go *pop*, especially with the built in gunner ability. I've annihilated 3 arc-dodger lists with IGs.

Boba + a VI'd aggressor beat my dual iggys pretty good.

I'm not a good player, but I was able to destroy a TIE swarm with a double Aggressor build. Like was mentioned above, it was the BBBBZ that did me in -- hard! TIE Phantoms with Rebel Captive were also problematic. I think stress in general is a weakness of IG-88.

Stress is good. Get a large base ship with tactician for the huge arc and profit.

I agree with Jo Jo, Reb swarms are quite dangerous for Iggies, I fly the BXXZZZ version. guns, guns, guns...

Stress is also the nemesis of Iggies as well, especially ones with adv sens. It'll usually ruin ones day...

Stress is a killer. I had a game a month or so ago against this exact list. I was running a fairly standard Chiraneau/Fel list. The twist was that I had Mara Jade. We traded B and Fel and then Chiraneau got behind C. The Decimator is faster than the IG-2000, and I was able to stay within range 1 of C, dropping a stress with Mara, so he was never able to turn around. He ended up conceding after three turns of that.

Not sure how often it'll work out that way, but it's the most hosed I've ever seen a brobot list.
