I'm finding the sculpts of the new rebel squadrons mush cleaner and detailed than the X-Wings or any of the Ties.

Clean and very bold, love them! How are the X-wings from the squad pack, same as starter? Also could we see a few more shots of that frigate!?

Nice. The A-wings remind me of Spaceman Spiff's space ship form Calvin and Hobbes, they're so clean and bright.

I'm curious as to how long it takes you to do a single fighter and how long you take between layers/shades.

An individual fighter might take 15-20 minutes tops. A-Wings are super fast, B-wings not so much.

I use a Windsor and Newton Series 7 size 0 brush for all detail work.

The photos are a bit bleached but the highlights are fairly bold and there is no blending, just 2-3 layers of colour.

The X-wings are the same, it just appears to be the A, B & Y that are better designed, cleaner details... Not that any of the others are bad!
