Question, how do you get them to appear, and not just a link?

I modified my 3 AFM2's to make them sleeker and "engine-er". I cut the stack of pods below the brown pod off and the little pyramid shaped bump off the top to make the ships sleeker. Then, I used the back ends of tie bombers to create 4 boost engines for each. One on the back of each little side bulge and 2 on the thing-a-ma-jig above the single engine. The ships look really good now. I'll post some pictures in the painting and modification forum when I finish moving. ? As for the thread question...not really "good" or "bad", more like "dumpy" (as in awkward and uncoordinated design)

I do think the Assault frigate mk2 could use some more engines. But yea I like them more than 'evil goatee' dreadnought.

For the record I thought it looked stupid in EaW.

I also own three of them. The first got more engines, the second had half the external bits removed and added in a different configuration and got more engines, the third was completely disassembled, and reassembled in a different configuration, adding a good inch to its length, and yep you guessed it, more engines! WTF is with the ****** single engine on a speed three ship? Come on! Its like your not even trying!
