Download does not match Preview

By Babaganoosh, in X-Wing Mission Control Technical Support and Feedback Forum

Someone pointed out a bug to me earlier today; on one of my missions, the preview and download versions of one of my scenarios do not match. There is a section of text missing, as well as formatting elements such as bolding.

This happened to me last night, and is precisely why I came into this forum now. Text previews fine, but all my bold text is gone when downloaded.

As a side note, if anyone doesn't mind reading over my mission (a Furball variant) and offering some constructive criticism, I'd appreciate it. Especially you, Babaganoosh!

(Via private message, perhaps, so as to not clutter the Mission Control Feedback forum or this thread.)

EDIT: Actually, my headings don't display bolded in preview now, either.

If you're missing text in the preview/download that you can see in your preview from the editing screen, there is a way to fix that.

Basically, you just need to make sure that your relevant text in the second and third columns doesn't go farther down than the text in the first column. I put in a bunch of periods to fill in the space and push the text in the second column into the third column so it shows up. Does that make sense?

I saw your scenario; looks pretty solid. I'd add a short blurb clarifying rules for feedback arrays, (for counting as attacks or not), and for feedback arrays and mines/bombs being used in the first turn of play (I assume you don't want them used, but they aren't attacks so right now they'd technically be legal). I guess you could be more specific about setting up the initial asteroids, but that is probably not necessary. Other than that I'd say it looks great!

Thanks for the mission control tips, and thanks very much for the feedback. I appreciate it!
