For those of you that know me you know I post mostly in the Armada community. For those of you that don't: I don't post any personal info about where I'm from or where my sources are, but you can trust my information is legitimate from the highest source.

I had a request to post any information regarding the Imperial Raider in this community, but, sadly, there is no info as of yet,

However, I come bearing news that X-Wing Wave 7 is scheduled to release in August of this year.

As always, this information can change until I get a solid street date for the items. Until then, get your hopes up and get pumped for new pieces.

I've seen a store's order guide for August and can confirm that W7 is on it. Since I saw it last night, and this got posted today, I'm assuming that's where he's getting his information from.

Although I agree, what Newt has to say isn't really official. He does seem to be dead on with Armada stuff. Right now he's 3 for 3.

Hate to burst your bubble, but I don't think so. What you will likely see is the Imperial Raider expansion at Gencon. Wave 7 hasn't even make it to the "In Development" status as of yet. Seeing how long the Raider has been "in Printing", there is no way that wave 7 be out by Gencon. Your best bet is prior to Christmas this year.

For real. That is significantly more important. We're all assuming they won't be available for nationals and will be available for world's. The rest is just details.

The huge ships seem to take A LOT longer to get through the production cycle than a normal wave. There is absolutely nothing that can be determined about wave 7 based on the raider's time.

August gives 3 months. That's possible for wave 7, but pushing it, given FFGs track record, IMO. Still, as has been mentioned, newt does seem to have some reliable sources.

My guess would be that the raider will get released at gen con, and wave 7 will have some advance copies the way wave 5 did.

Judging by her history, Enquiringnewt is more trustworthy than God, so I'm counting her word as "Official".

Think wave 7 will be like wave 5. Pre-release at GenCon and wide release November.

I've learned to treat FFG's projections as optimistic dreams, rather than as a solid bit of information.

I don't think they're lying, for what it's worth. They're just politicians making promises and not accounting for a hostile congress. Q3 really is what they want. Q4 is what we'll get.

Weren't the rebel aces supposed to come out in August last year though...?

He's been right a few times already on Armada. You can take his information with decent weight.

Edit: What I think he means is that its supposed to release in August, which really means the standard FFG wait of adding an extra 2 or 3 months.
