Is this Scum Y list viable for tourneys

I've grown to really like the Y's and the scum pilots ability. How would this list hold up competitively?

Syndicate thug

ICT, BTL, Unhinged, Hull

Drea

2x Proton torps, R4-B11, Shield

Kavil

Blaster, Marksmanship, EI, r4

Puts out a ton of damage but can it hold up long enough??

You are going to be stressing both your named Y-wing which only have two moves to clear it. Its going to make them really predictable and easy to block. Kavil will need to clear stress to actually shoot his weapon and if he's blocked he's not shooting.

Marksmanship + EI is too expensive of a combo to be worthwhile. Personally I like to run Kavil with ABT + EU + VI + Unhinged. Makes him fairly mobile and a no-go zone for Interceptors and Phantoms.

Drea is a bit underatted I think, she actually makes Torps viable, but I hate R4-B11. Its just too expensive for what it does. Maybe if it was 2 points I can see using it more. You'll probably be using the TL on the torp roll more often then not. Once extra munitions comes along I think Drea might see more use.

i agree, marksmanship with EI on Kavil is probably a bad buy. it can be hard enough getting that focus to fire your turret without being limited to two green moves.

but I disagree about r4-b11. drea is about the only place I think its useful, just make sure you TL something else before your target dies.

you've got another ship in upgrades hanging around. hull, shield, marksmanship, EI, that's a Z95.

Drea just keeps stacking stress all you want and regaining target lock. She is the ultimate warthog pilot. R4-B11 is just another TL and stress. 30 points of Drea with ion turret, R4-B11and BTL title is killer.

I agree With the other posts, ditch EI and Marksmanship. I like the premise of the list. I made some tweaks while keeping the identity:

So you get an extra z95 for blocking by dropping hull, shield, EI, and marksmanship. Then Drea had single torpedo for the early rounds then she switches over to BTL mode which she is darned good at. Kavil uses a standard, but effective, build. This does have some serious firepower and control. I hope to try this list out today.

I like Jojo's suggested Kavil build but I'm 2 points shy of fitting it in. Could trade Predator for VI but then you often fire unmodified. The list would also need 3 unhinged astromechs.

I think BTL hurts Drea, with all those stresses if anyone goes by her, it's hard for her to get back in the fight. I dropped the shield on her and put ICT which helped when people went by. I may try the VI Kavil and see what happens.
