WHY FFG? Why Tease me like this?

By KAGE13, in Star Wars: Armada

So my FLGS has told me that waive 1 is in the city. But I can't buy them until tomorrow because of the release date.

Why on earth would Canada and the USA have different release dates? my FLGS even said he has never seen that before.

I WANT MY SHIPS...

Which side of the border are you on? I'm North, just picked up my stuff today :)

North.

He said his invoice says release date May 15th. He can't release them to me today.

Symbolic Violence. Sorry, you've got Bourdieu'ed.

Same reason they do stupid things like call US nationals North American Championship.

The release date for Canada is in fact tomorrow. I have this confirmed by multiple sources straight through to Lion Rampant Imports. Ships are here but I can't buy them either.

This is is one thing that really annoys me about ffg. They should stop saying North America in their tournament documents and just say USA and rest of the world.

According to the website Waive 1 is abailable. I guess they aren't talking to us lowly Canadians. We should settle this with a hockey game. We won 9-0 today about you guys?

Got mine in the UK today :)

Belgium has them to! :D

But I know how you feel KAGE 13, I was slowly going nuts over DC Dicemasters (it was released in america 2 weeks ago and my local game store had heard no word about it from it's suppliers untill yesterday!)

You could just drive south and pick them up and then come back north and sell them to your anxious friends for double price!

Video games have different release dates depending on country

It's punishment for Celine Dion and Justin Beaver.

When you are going over the border South to get your medical care, you could just pick up some Star Wars Armada stuff then ?

and now theirs coffee all over my keyboard at work.....

Strange thing is that when called FFG says there is no specific release date for Canada, rather once the distributor has it and ship out they can be sold, at least that is what I was told yesterday.

Geography trivia: the city of Detroit, MI is north of Windsor, Ontario

I live just north of Detroit. I can drive 15 minutes south and enter Canada.

I was told by two Dutch distributors that wave one is next week!
