Are the Spanish suppliers permitted to do this?

As for Spanish business I don't want to make a stereotypical statement but...

"I don't want to say something unnecessarily reductive and a little bit racist, but watch me do it anyway."

So saying something about a particular European country's pattern of doing business is racist? I think you might be a little confused between what is racist and what is not.

EDGE Entertainment is a very serious company, with great customer service and terrible quality videos uploaded to Instagram xD. Also, c'mon, Spain and Spanish bussiness are not so different from what you could find across Europe. They probably had permission, since they released the K-wing video a week ago, so they may have been told to be a little more restrictive with the shown cards.

You're not being racist, but you're being misinformed. Proud to be a spaniard... sometimes.

SIDE NOTE: The PS6 K-wing allows to use it's tokens by allieds, only for OFFENSE!

Edit: typo

As for Spanish business I don't want to make a stereotypical statement but Spanish companies are notorious for being extremely laisez-fare and uncooperative when it comes to dealing with other businesses. They really often play by their own rules and it is not uncommon for NDAs to be disregarded.

I believe Edge (the Spanish company) and FFG are much closer to each other than most other distributors.

I noticed several years ago that FFG were using for their website virtually a direct copy of Edge's.

If you don't believe me, try this link to the Internet Archive: https://web.archive.org/web/20120103090101/http://fantasyflightgames.com/

That shows the FFG site as it was a couple of years ago. If you hold your mouse arrow on the top menu links (News, Catalog, Community, ...) you will see that their linking URLs are http://fantasyflightgames.com/edge_catalogo.asp, http://fantasyflightgames.com/edge_comunidad.asp , etc. (They even keep on working nowadays!)

That "edge" word in the link, that "catalogo" word (catalog in Spanish), "comunidad" word (community in Spanish), etc...

One could almost believe that FFG would be an american distributor for Edge (I know it obviously isn't).

So I am not surprised at all that Edge has some special treatment with previews and spoilers.

OR a new theory..

EDGE Gamimg released the initial K-Wing video on Instagram to a lot of attention and discussion..

FFG was not happy about a premature release but boy did it spark 15 forums and thousands of views of that simple helicopter style with THE creepiest music in Spain..

BUT ffg saw this and took full advantage of it immediately: If the newest video revealed the same amount of info as the initial then we would've realized there was no input from FFG but since it's different format and a much less revealing video, it's clear to me that FFG told them exactly how to do it on the second video..

Sorry for the grammatical errors gentle(wo)men.
