Actually every tie ship would gain at least 1 maneuver from green banks. In my opinion there's no chance of green turns, it would be far too strong, so if it's a turn, it's to make turns white. Which benefits fewer ships in a lesser way.
Green banks help lots besides just defender:
2 banks: you've got the advanced, bombers, defenders. All banks add in Phantom, and base tie.

I hope they make turns white, instead of banks green.
It'd be a nice buff targeted specifically at Bombers, Defenders and Punishers.
The TIE Fighters don't really need 2 extra green banks as a buff, they see enough use already!
Turns green would be amazing and it should for taking away the ability for Auto Thrusters or Engine Upgrade.

Yeah probably, it seems like all green turns would make any other tie variant with ptl capacity insane (specifically ints)

For me more greens, equal more options during combat. I like more options, I would take this on low PS defenders, so I where an EI really doesn't help. Plus it's only 1 point.

Sort of like a 1 point free boost (I don't see any "Action" headers) that only works on 'easy' maneuvers for that specific tie. It would make ties be able to zip like iggys. It's sort of like what the picture shows, a defender with afterburners on.

We already have seen "you may treat [ ] maneuvers [ ] m...." So it's almost assuredly you may treat x maneuvers as y color maneuvers.

Interceptors would actually consider this. They could just about k-turn while clearing stress. I think that's a reason it won't happen, plus what nigeltastic said.

They won't gain maneuvers that aren't on the dial, but any banks they have that are white (or red, we haven't seen the Punisher dial) would become green. IE, TIE Fighters wouldn't gain green 1 banks, but Defenders would.

The more I look at it the more I think that it might let you make a S-Loop when you reveal a K-Turn.

If the base model would cost 19 points you could at least go with like 2 seismics and EA or Missiles and EA ...
