Diego Luna cast as lead role for Rogue One

I'm learning so many words!

Oh, and I'm with the fryingpan...I hope it's Kyle and Jan that make it to the big screen. Or Jan and Kyle if that helps.

Pessimism does shorten lifespans though, multiple studies have confirmed it. And anyway, it's not faith to withhold an opinion until more facts are in, it's good science. Also, in the absence of confirming evidence one way or another, it's probably emotionally healthier to look forward to something than to dread it.

The correct response to any and all things is always scepticism we have a word for taking things at face value without evidence:gullibility.

And i'd rather have a shorter lifespan and control of my mind and bowels than live to be 120 and have to wear adult diapers while drooling all over myself.

But you're not being skeptical. Skepticism waits till all available evidence is in place before making a decision on something, and if there is a lack of evidence to support a fact, they will ignore that fact until said evidence is shown.

You on the other hand have already decided that it's probably going to be bad, which not only influences your viewing of the film but will also probably promote dementia, since close-mindedness is linked to stress (i.e., uses many of the same brain functions) and stress is strongly linked to dementia. It's much better to be open-minded and not risk "wearing adult diapers while drooling all over yourself."

I've given an opinion that I think it might be bad given the directors past work what I haven't done is make a positive claim that it definitely will be bad.

Opinions do not require evidence of any kind.

And I'm not basing it on nothing I've watched their work before and that's what's informed my opinion.

When the film is out then ill make a statement of fact as to its quality in my eyes not before.

And why do you assume I'm stressed? After the prequels I'm no longer hyped ive been bitten before so I'll go in with no real expectations and so will at worst come out a little disappointed.

Also assuming I'm a negative person completely ignores the available evidence here on the forums, you can look at alot of my posts and see me making jokes or getting excited over new ships, the prequels and jar jar abrhams are the only two subjects where I'm negative.

It's true that many of us have been burned by the prequels the last time, some of us remember the huge amount of hype. Many of us were really disappointed and haven't quite gotten over it.

Me personally, yeah I was in that boat. I got over it. I still believe that the sequel trilogy will work out.
