Does relentlessness has the potential to be activated twice on each cluster missiles attack? The key words I see is attack twice.

On a side note, the faq states for munitions failsafe to work with cluster missiles, both attacks must miss.

it's worth noting that if you have ruthlessness you MUST use it whenever you perform an attack - even if that means one of your own ships suffers damage

The only restriction there is it can't be you. But it most definitely can be a friendly ship that gets caught in the crosshairs along with the defender.

This is handy when attacking tight formations, but not so much fun when you've got friendlies mixed in there as well.

One thing to remember is that Ruthlessness triggers on a hit. If you miss with one of your Cluster attacks you do not have to use Ruthlessness for that attack. If you hit with both attacks you must use Ruthlessness twice.
